From vision to reality - the journey of Kavod Technologies
2019 - The Beginning
Founded by Isaac Havilah in Cape Town, South Africa, Kavod Technologies started with a simple yet ambitious vision: to democratize technology access across Africa. Our first platform, BantuX, was launched as a social internet browser designed specifically for African users.
2020-2021 - Rapid Growth
We expanded our portfolio with BantuStream, our video streaming platform, and Buslyft, our ride-hailing service. These platforms quickly gained traction, reaching over 100,000 users across South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya.
2022-2023 - Continental Expansion
We launched FarmX for agricultural technology, GrandEstate for real estate, and RunnerStack for e-commerce. Our user base grew to over 500,000 active users across 25+ African countries.
2024 - Present - Innovation Leadership
Today, we operate 17+ technology platforms serving over 1 million users across 50+ countries. We've become a leading technology holding company with a presence in major African cities including Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, and Johannesburg. Our diverse portfolio spans from entertainment and e-commerce to funeral tech, sports, automotive, beauty, education, and rail technology.
